We asked InkFist to develop the back-end of a secure client area. Inkfist developed the exact functionality we desired, along with savvy security options, and easily integrated our interface design. We have been delighted with the results and continue to rely on Inkfist's expertise for expanding our own capabilities as well as those of our clients.

Bogart is such a gifted teacher. He can actually decipher complex computer lingo into English. I am forever grateful to Bogart for all of the thoughtful input he has given me about the website I am building. I have such peace of mind knowing that my business website is hosted on a local server by someone who knows my name! I can not say enough about what an amazing teacher and web host you have been!

You have an impressive command of the PHP programming language and an equally comprehensive knowledge of web application development and environments. This coupled with your thorough teaching style, patience and thoughtful consideration of all questions makes for an ideal learning environment. I am especially grateful for your commitment to furthering the education and success of your students by offering them ongoing consultation. This is invaluable as we set forth to put our learning into practice!

"Introduction to Programming using PHP" was the first weekly class I had taken in about 20 years, I was quite nervous. I had never taken any type of programming class and was worried my lack of programming knowledge would put me behind the eight ball. WAS I WRONG! Although we had experienced programmers as well as new programmers and everyone in-between, Bogart was able to analyze and accommodate to each students specific needs. Each class was a stepping stone to the next until by the end we were working on real-life dynamic and interactive websites. It was a pleasure to have him as a teacher.

Dear Bogart,
I want to thank you so very much for the incredible speedy response when my e-card program was hacked and vandalized. I had absolutely no idea how that could have happened until you showed me that I had not changed the program's default administrative password. Honestly, I expected my website to be shut down for an indefinite period, but you responded to my message, analyzed the coding problem in detail, resolved it and wrote back in 2 hours.
From your explanation of the coding background of this event I learned a great deal about security issues surrounding web components that allow customer input, e.g., contact forms, guest books, discussion forums, and of course e-card programs. I've enjoyed telling some of my friends how you traced the problem back to its source and discovered that the offending hacker had found my web address on the 44th page of a Google search originating from Google-Turkey. It was an absolutely amazing analysis!!!
Many thanks for offering such a good deal on hosting services at InkFist.Com. You've hosted my website for a year and a half now, and I'm completely and happily satisfied, not just because pricing is reasonable and competitive, but also because:
• Your customer service is impeccable. It is possible to get individual attention at Inkist without having to wade through a veritable Walmart of commercialism and automated communication pages that characterize some of the larger hosting services.
• Your tech support is top of the line. You obviously possess a unique combination of coding talents, long term experience, and expertise in PHP, MySQL, database management, and Javascript. Very impressive!
• I have peace of mind with regard to security issues. Because you've demonstrated an unusual level of insight into the coding underground of the web, I am confident that as I expand the complexity of my website, all financial transactions will be surrounded by the highest security possible.
• Account management is much easier when you can talk to a human being instead of a labyrinthine computer program. Because you are able to give personal attention to your clients, I know that billing issues will be handled correctly. This is more important than one might think, for it is possible to stumble into a financial quicksand when it comes to automated account renewals. I speak from experience: For 2 years I had a website hosted elsewhere. When I decided to eliminate that website, I found myself going around and around in circles trying to cancel an upcoming automated 2-year renewal to be charged to my credit card. Even after I used their computerized financial pages to cancel the automatic debit, it took 15 email exchanges and a telephone call, after which they claimed they needed another telephone to verify the telephone call, and 2 months to resolve and get possession of my own credit card. Yikes!
I've also had experience with web hosting at GoDaddy. That website is huge, complex, and probably has many fine features. However, its huge size, complexity, and automated interfaces can be a barrier in attempting to get answers to specific questions from customer service. I lost access to an account there because I did not realize I had input 2 ID numbers and so became very confused. The answers I received to my inquiries were obscure and raised other questions. Even a year later I'm still don't know where one of my domain name accounts is. Navigating through such huge hosting websites requires some acclimation and is not always as easy and user-friendly as it portrays itself to be.
And, incidentally, I've noticed that the uploading speed at InkFist is much faster than it is at Godaddy, where I maintain a website for a friend.
So I am happy to have found a web hosting situation in which I feel secure and know I can always get some personal attention if I need it. I would highly recommend your hosting service at (and your web design skills) to anyone, especially to someone who is just starting a website.
I look forward to continuing the development of my website on InkFist.Com.
Thank you again!
Very sincerely,
Marilyn Sarelas, Ph.D.
